What cha looking at? Shake your Bootie

August 21st, 2008 · No Comments

Earlier this week I unveiled the Betty Bootie by Klub Nico. Unlike most of the population, I have the gift of vision. Fashionista vision that is! When I see a pair of shoes, I automatically started creating outfits in my head. When I saw Betty, I saw a dress with tights and matching clutch. Come shake your booty with Klub Nico Betty Bootie:

Shake Your Bootie With Betty

Items in this set include Betty Bootie from Klub Nico, Fendi Ruched beaded clutch, Chloe Poppy cuff, Footed Tights, Stella McCartney Silk mini dress, Chanel Bronze Sparkle Logo Cuff Bracelet, and Bronze Shell and Gold Earrings by June Bijou.  I absolutely LOVE the Stella McCartney Silk mini dress, TO DIE FOR!  Solid black with great accent items and interesting colors is what makes the outfit pop.  I can see myself shaking my bootie in this outfit and having a BALL….

CRAYOLA Crayons! Ramona Pump

August 20th, 2008 · No Comments

There’s a trend that continues to take over the shoe market place! When I first saw COLOR BLOCKING, the first thing that came to mind was CRAYOLA crayons. Splash of color here, splash of color there. Shoe designers are using blocks of color to create dramatic, geometric designs. You can get real funky with the block colors using three, four, or more colors on a shoe. OR, you can be a little more sublte with colors in the same family like my friend Ramona by Klub Nico:

This patent leather beauty, Ramona, has about three different shades of gray and a hint of black. Definitely subtle…yet still in line with the block color style, (I think I just made a rhyme). Ramona goes up to a size 11! Where can you find this beauty? www.auxpiedsde.com. I found another pair of block color shoes, which I consider to be REALLY funky, take a look at Darrel By LAMB:

FUNKY! And HOT! Too bad, they’ve sold out of the larger sizes. LAMB generally goes up to a 10 and 11 in certain styles. To me, LAMB definitely runs on the small size. Then again, that’s my opinion; better yet, the opinion of my big foot. Why don’t you take me to FUNKY TOWN? What do you think?
